Pacho Nacho

Today’s book, Pacho Nacho by Silvia López is read by Jojo’s Book Club friend Jenny Morales from Land of Libros. Pacho Nacho is a fun new update of a classic tale of a boy with many names.
The author’s note at the end of the book describes some of the versions this story has gone through over the years, starting in Japan and then Britain and now to Mexico, where Pacho Nacho and his family live (we remember the version called Tikki-Tikki-Tembo from when we were kids!). We love how Spanish words are sprinkled throughout this tale of two brothers. A glossary at the end provides translation to English.
